FAQs
How Are Our Cattle Raised?
Our cattle are raised in a natural, stress-free environment on our family farm in Oklahoma. They spend their days grazing on open pastures, enjoying a grass-fed diet with a grain finish to enhance the flavor and marbling of the beef. We prioritize ethical and humane treatment, ensuring they are never confined to feedlots or given unnecessary hormones or antibiotics.
What Do We Feed Our Cattle?
Our cattle graze on native Oklahoman and high-protein Bermuda grass for most of year. During the winter months, when fresh grass is sparse, they feed on local hay. We maintain our own hay fields to ensure the best possible quality for our cattle. Their grass diet is also supplemented with mineral and protein-rich feed.
What Makes Our Cattle Different from Conventional Beef?
Unlike conventionally raised cattle, our cows are given plenty of space to roam and graze, resulting in less stress and better overall health. This not only ensures a higher quality of life for the cattle but also leads to beef that’s superior in taste, texture, and nutrition. By avoiding feedlots and ensuring ethical, sustainable practices, we produce beef that stands out from typical supermarket offerings.
